- ADANSONIA DIGITATA (Baobab) fruit pulp (micronised and 100% natural) - water soluble
Its high content of vitamin C, calcium, vitamin PP and 50% fibre (22%
soluble-23% insoluble) makes the product especially valuable for use in
products with high nutritional value.
It contains: amino acids, vitamin B1-B2-B6, niacin (Vitamin PP),
carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin C, dietary fibre; energy value: 100-200g
kcal, 100-836g kJ.
In traditional pharmacopoeia, it is used as intestinal regulator (for both
constipation and dysentery), as natural integrator at times of tiredness, in
treatment of epidermal diseases, and as anti-inflammatory cure for the
joints and the urogenital tract.
10% pulp in water develops a PH of 3.2.
The product dissolves well in cold water.
